Job Description:
Our client is a leading industrial engineering company servicing numerous industries. This position supports the CEO in all key decisions and participates in all key decision making as a member of the SSA Executive Team.
Responsibilities:
  • Providing leadership to the following functions:
  • Controlling, Accounting & Reporting (CAR)
  • Information Technology Management (ITM)
  • Procurement & Supply Chain Management (PSM) and
  • Commercial - including Cost Control
  • CFOs organization within sub-regions Morocco and Middle East/Turkey
  • Managing the entire financial performance activities in SSA companies
  • Ensuring that the above mentioned teams deliver proactive business partnering to the organization
  • Accountable for the administrative management of the IS SSA companies
  • Responsible for the P+L management
  • Building up joint and standardized processes in close co-operation with the BU CFO
  • Monitoring project execution (EPC, turnkey) within MEA companies
  • Responsible for the governance, i.e. risk management and internal control that supports the organisation in achieving its objectives as part of the whole project life cycle
  • Organizing and leading the strategic and regional planning procedures within IS MEA
  • Creating and maintaining sustainable value for shareholders and stakeholders (maximum revenue, minimum costs, maximum economic value and sustainability)
  • Responsible for the ICS of all countries in the SSA region
  • Acting as the Compliance Officer for all IS MEA companies
  • Responsible for Annual OPL (Budget) Process across the entire region
  • Ensuring financial transparency across all MEA sub-regions
  • Responsible for the BBBEE audit as well as the coordination of the various inputs

Requirements: Qualification and Skill
  • Relevant degree
  • Must be CA qualified
  • Corporate tax certificate and related legal courses
  • Several years of experience as responsible and successfully globally engaged CFO in the respective project business
  • Experience in large multinational, with Matrix reporting structure
  • Clear market and customer orientation
  • Familiar with EPC/Turnkey project management structures and processes and contract management
  • Careful deployment of budget and cash-flow management
  • Proven multicultural expertise
  • Clear commitment to the Company values particularly regarding compliance and inclusiveness
  • Strong financial generalist/multi-disciplined.
  • Technical enough in the following areas: Mergers and Acquisitions/Restructuring; Corporate Finance; Commercial (including PSM); Systems/Information Technology; Operations; Risk Management and Insurance
  • Exceptional analytical skills
  • Must possess leadership skills and strategic vision and be an effective leader of the Exco team
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and corporate taxes
  • Ability to understand business drivers and the underlying non-financial information that drives the financials in the Company
